Galveston Beach, TX
May 22-23, 2026

ACF responded to East Beach in Galveston, TX to assist beach patrol and Houston CERT Pct.1 with patrol efforts. While there, the team encountered extremely severe weather with extensive flooding and damaging ground lightning. While assisting with the recovery of a deceased adult in the ocean, many of our critical pieces of equipment were damaged by the severe storms. Flash flooding created more damage while extricating our own equipment, and unfortunately the weekend was cancelled due to these circumstances for the beach patrons.

We deployed Storm Link 1 (the mobile repeater system) which was hit by lightening. We deployed the UTV, a critical piece of equipment, which also received major damage from the intense weather. The trailer used to transport this equipment was also damaged. We are pleased to report that of the several portable radios deployed to the teams, only 1 encountered water damage which was later fixed.

Texas July 4 Flood Deployment

A Letter From Advanced Command Force

On July 4th, 2025, the people of Kerrville, Texas, faced an unimaginable tragedy. In just hours, torrential rainfall turned calm rivers into deadly torrents. Flash floods tore through homes, washed away entire camps, and left families grieving, communities shattered, and hundreds missing. It was one of the deadliest inland floods in American history.

Advanced Command Force was honored to answer the call.

Over the course of two intense weeks, our volunteer team deployed to Kerr County and the surrounding Hill Country. We worked side by side with first responders, military units, local agencies, and countless brave volunteers. Our mission: locate the missing, support the survivors, restore communications, and bring help where hope felt out of reach.

Our teams conducted search and rescue across treacherous floodplains, delivered vital supplies, restored radio communications in off-grid zones, and helped coordinate relief logistics. We assisted in body recoveries with dignity and care, and provided support to SAR and cadaver dogs.

What we witnessed in Kerrville will stay with us forever — not just the loss, but the strength, unity, and resilience of a community in crisis.

To those we served, we carry your stories with us.

To those who supported us, we thank you.

And to those who want to join this mission — there’s room in the ranks. Whether through time, donation, or partnership, we invite you to stand with us. Because when disaster strikes, we show up.

Storm Response. Rapid Recovery. That’s what we do.

With respect and resolve,

Jessica McCaslin
